If a recent report by The Mobile Indian is to be believed, Nokia’s first Symbian Belle devices – Nokia 700 and 701 – will arrive within the next few weeks. A Nokia India spokesperson told the site:
"Both the devices, the Nokia 700 and the Nokia 701, will be available in the Indian market in the coming few weeks."
The devices were expected to arrive in India in October, but now might hit shelves in the country before the month ends. So, far, there's been no news about when the Nokia 600 will arrive.
Both devices are 3G-enabled, and have 1GHz processors, NFC connectivity, and Nokia ClearBlack Displays onboard, with the Nokia 700 featuring a 3.2-inch AMOLED display, and the Nokia 701 bearing a 3.5-inch IPS display. The Nokia 700 has a 5MP camera with a LED flash, and the Nokia 701 has an 8MP camera with dual-LED flash.
Refer to our previous coverage for more details about the two devices. As for prices, the report speculates the Nokia 700 will retail for approximately Rs. 17,000, while the Nokia 701 will retail for Rs. 19,000.
