HTC Ruby a.k.a Amaze 4G being prepped for launch, capable of DC-HSPA+ speeds


HTC is reportedly working on a new smartphone called Ruby a.k.a. Amaze 4G, and the device is likely to hit the shelves very soon, perhaps later this month. Reports of the HTC Ruby come in the backdrop of the images of the device leaked by a Thai website, Droid Sans.
The images show that the HTC Ruby has a 4.3-inch, 960 x 540 qHD display, an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. One of the most talked about feature of HTC Ruby is its high bandwidth capability. The new device is said to be capable of DC-HSPA+ speeds, which ensures bandwidth up to 42 Mbps.
According to reports, the HTC Ruby runs on Android 2.3 operating system, with Sense 3.5 UI on top. The device is likely to be available in two different hues - black and white.
There's no official word on the launch or price of the device. Though now that a few details have emerged, we can expect HTC to disclose more about the HTC Ruby.
