iBall Slide: Cheap Android Tablet with USB Port

iBall-Slide-adnroid-tablet
Today tablets are having the same fierce competition that laptops were having a few years back. Every company is trying to make its mark in this segment, due to this customers are getting a lot more options and value for their money. iBall is the most recent one to enter the Indian market with its 7-inch Android based tablet named Slide.

Slide Android tablet is among the cheaper tablets, it comes at a price of just Rs. 13,995,so it will be unfair to compare it to big names like iPad/iPad 2 and Samsung Galaxy Tab. However it doesn’t mean that it has sub-par hardware and features. One of the most attractive feature of the tablet is the inclusion of a USB port which is a rarity in Android tablets. But as a result of USB port, Slide is slightly thicker than the rest.
Slide features and specs:
  • 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch support
  • 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor
  • Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS
  • 8GB internal memory
  • Support for microSD card up to 32GB
  • Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth enabled
  • 2MP front-facing camera
  • Support for 3D games
  • HDMI and USB port
  • 4400mAh Li-ion battery with up to 5 hours of video playback capability
iBall Slide will be available soon in all major retail outlets of the country, and will be giving stiff competition to other low-end tablets like Reliance 3G Tab and Spice Mi-720.
