Optus to launch Xperia S in early April

The Sony Xperia S is heading to Optus. The telco is planning an early April launch, and will be $0 upfront for those who sign up to a 24 month contract under its $49 Optus Cap Plan or $49 Business Complete Plan – which also includes 1.5GB of data.
Announced back at CES, The Xperia S features a 4.3-inch display, a 1.5GHz dual core processor and 32GB of storage. It also features two cameras – a 12-megapixel rear camera capable of recording 1080p and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera capable of recording 720p footage and has NFC support.
It will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Sony has said that it will be upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich soon.
