While the Android-based Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman phone only just hit India (earlier this month with Reliance Communications), we’re now hearing announcements from the joint-venture that they will be launching another Android Walkman phone this year – the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman – which will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread installed.
Looking essentially the same as the new Xperia Mini and Mini Pro, the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman has a marginally larger screen at 3.2-inches, comes with Sony xLOUD audio enhancement and stereo speakers, the famous Walkman player, weighs a heavier 115 grams, and has the same old ‘four corner shortcut UI’ of the old Xperia X10 Mini. Also featured is native social music sharing, via Facebook. Users will also get Content services from Sony provide access to the latest music and video titles. Surprisingly, it also comes with a document editor, something the Xperia Mini doesn't offer.
The Sony Ericson Live with walkman is supposed to debut on shelves at the end of this year, however, no pricing details have been revealed yet. A stereo headset will unsurprisingly, also be bundled with this walkman phone.
